“Brontide” at Crane Theater
Beatrice is an independent film producer running a boutique studio. Sylvia is a scientist devoted to creating technology that can save the planet. Both women find themselves surrounded by chaos and confusion, especially when a being named Briar arrives and claims to want to help, but only offers strange tales and riddles to unravel. A-Mill Artist Lofts, 315 Main Street SE, will be open during Art-A-Whirl 2024, May 17-19. Hours are Friday, May 17, 5-10 pm ; Saturday, May 18, 10 am-8 pm; and Sunday, May 19, 10-5 pm. The building will be open on multiple floors with 60 artist vendors conducting demos such as jewelry, ceramics, screen printing, painting and photography. The St. Clement campus (901 24th Ave NE) of Holy Cross will host more than a dozen artists showcasing paintings, ceramics, jewelry, woodworking and more during Art-A-Whirl. There will be a Polish Happy Hour on Friday night. All weekend there will be food, drink, music, and church tours.
