Book Sale at Pierre Bottineau
Friends of the Pierre Bottineau Library will hold a book sale on Saturday, May 4, 10 am-2 pm at the Pierre Bottineau Library, 55 Broadway St. NE. Hundreds of adult and children's fiction and nonfiction books in hardcover and paperback (most are $.50 - $1; cash only) . They will also have "blind date" books for sale and a few vinyl albums. As part of the Audubon Spring Festival, there will be a “swap” of gear and clothing for babies (age 0-24 months). You do not need to bring swap items in order to take what you need, free. Register now open for the Lower Northeast Neighborhoods Association Spring Bean Bag Tournament on Saturday, May 11, noon-3 pm at Sociable Cider Werks, 1500 Fillmore St. NE. The cost to participate is $25 per team (two-person teams). This is a fundraiser for the Lower Northeast Neighborhoods Association. Watch the tournament and have a beverage.
