Northeast Community Band at Como Park
The Northeast Community Band will present its end-of-the-season concert at the Como Lakeside Pavilion, 360 Lexington Pkwy. N in St. Paul, Thursday, May 30, 7 pm. The band will reprise some tunes from previous concerts this year and will feature Jack Stamp's "Pastime," a salute to baseball.

Liz Sexton's "Watershed," a collection of paper mâché sculptures of wildlife that inhabit waterways from the source of the Mississippi to the seas, will be on display at Silverwood Park June 6-July 31. "Echo Trail" reflects Laura Ahola-Young’s investigation of Critical Plant Theory, a new inquiry in the humanities that examines the human/plant relationship. Her paintings celebrate plants found in her homeland, the Boundary Waters of Minnesota, and look closer at algae, the study of photosynthesis, microscopic details and the role of oxygen and carbon in climate change.
