A Polish celebration with organist Gail Archer
Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1621 University Ave. NE is proud to celebrate its rich cultural heritage in a concert of all Polish organ music on Saturday, March 26, 7 pm. Gail Archer, is a professor of music at Barnard College of Columbia University. Her program will feature seldom-played gems by composers such as Felix Borowski, Henryk Mikolaj Gorecki, Grazyna Bacewicz, and Mieczyslaw Surzynsk. Free admission and ample parking.
