In three years of fighting under the United Nations flag, the United States suffered over 33,000 dead, and saw the controversial recall of General Douglas McArthur by President Harry Truman. Review the causes, see-saw fighting, prolonged negotiations, and national and international political implications. Audubon Park resident Matt Hannah will release his third album, "House of Illusion" Friday, March 11, 9-11 pm at the Aster Cafe, 125 Main St. SE ($8, all ages, City of Minneapolis COVID restrictions may apply). His music has been heard on KCMP The Current (MPLS) and radio stations throughout the country, and he has performed throughout the Midwest including at the Mid West Music Fest. Hear back-to-back performances of Pergolesi’s beloved "Stabat Mater" and Scarlatti’s "Salve Regina" on Saturday, March 12, 8 pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1621 University Ave. NE.
