The Forgotten War: Korea, 1950-1953 (Part 2)
In three years of fighting under the United Nations flag, the United States suffered over 33,000 dead, and saw the controversial recall of General Douglas McArthur by President Harry Truman. Review the causes, see-saw fighting, prolonged negotiations, and national and international political implications. A final public hearing on the concept and design of Graco Park will be held Wednesday, April 6, 6:30 pm at Minneapolis Park Board headquarters, 2117 West River Rd. The new park next to Hall’s Island and the Plymouth Avenue Bridge is scheduled to open in 2024.

The public is invited to attend the annual Ukrainian Easter Egg Festival at St. Michael’s & St. George’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 505 4th St. NE (in the church hall), Sunday, April 10, 11 am-2 pm.
