Traditional Scandinavian Lutefisk and Meatball Dinner
First Lutheran Church of Columbia Heights, 1555 40th Ave. NE, will have its annual Scandinavian Lutefisk and Meatball Dinner Saturday, Jan. 21, with seatings at 12, 2, 4, and 6 pm. St. Boniface Catholic Church, 633 2nd St. NE, will hold a Christmas Bazaar Saturday, Nov. 12, 10 am-2 pm. Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will be there, as will baked goods and crafts, gently used finds from Millie's Attic, a wine and spirit wheel, lollipop tree, money tree, basket raffles, Christmas trim from the Cub Scouts and roast beef sandwiches based on a family recipe.

The Northeast Chorale invites high school and adult singers to participate in its upcoming fall season. Rehearsals are held at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church, 1509 27th Ave NE, 6:30-8:30 pm on Tuesdays.
