Minneapolis-based photographer Diana Albrecht presents a new portrait series, “Our Seams.” Albrecht said the series grew from questions stemming from her experiences “at the intersection of transnationalism, queerness and style. A group of ten Art to Change the World members collected trash along the Mississippi River and used the items to create an educational interactive artwork. The Minnesota Sinfonia under the direction of Jay Fishman will present a free concert Saturday, April 22, 2 pm, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1621 University Ave. NE. The concert will feature Gao Hong, who will perform Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" with improvised variations on the Chinese pipa, a stringed instrument. Also on the program is Beethoven's Second Symphony and a work by South American composer José Nuñez Garcia. Families with children are encouraged to attend.
