The St. Anthony Village High School Concert Band & Jazz Band present the 60th Annual Pops Concert, "Pop Culture,” Friday & Saturday, April 26 & 27 at 7 pm. The Midwest Polka Association (MPA) invites the community to enjoy an afternoon of listening and dancing to polkas and waltzes at Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill St. NE, Sunday, April 28, 1-5 pm. Steve Burclaw's New Polish Sounds will provide the music dance. This is the first time this band has played for a MPA dance and the first time they have played in Minnesota. Theatre Novi Most is bringing The Ukrainian Words Project to various locations in the Twin Cities area and greater Minnesota. Under the direction of founders Lisa Channer and Vladimir Rovinsky, staged readings of new plays by Ukrainian playwrights will be performed alongside optional community Story Circles.
