Waite Park egg hunt
Jump into spring in as MPRB collaborates with Waite Park Wesleyan Church. Outside activities on the field. Treats, music and fun. Please check in at designated location at 9:30 am. Activities are from 10 am-12 pm. Kids are divided up into appropriate age ranges in different areas of the park: nursery (0-2), preschool (3-5), kindergarten-2nd grade and 3rd-5th graders. Saturday, April 19, 10-12:30 pm, Mississippi Watershed Management Organization, 2522 Marshall St NE. This workshop will start with an informative presentation from Colleen O’Connor Toberman, a local expert on carp in the Mississippi River. Artist Kimberly Boustead will demonstrate carp printing with a few different types of carp and then participants will have time to try their hand at carp printing, carp-inspired drawing and creative writing. Saturday, April 19, 10 am in the Council Chambers at St. Anthony City Hall, 3301 Silver Lake Rd. After a brief business meeting, view a video documentary of early St Anthony history and presentations for the upcoming 100th anniversary of Gross Golf Course and Sunset Memorial Park. Community members are encouraged to join in the discussion and share their memories, memorabilia and photos with the Society and the community. The Lions' Open Weights Championship is on the line Saturday, April 19, when the Columbia Heights Lions host AWF professional wrestling at Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill St. NE. Shop the boulevards in Bottineau Neighborhood, April 20-26. Put your items out on the boulevard as early as April 20 to give your neighbors a chance to "shop " your stuff. Have leftovers ready for city pickup by 9 am April 26. Then join neighbors for a cleanup at Gluek Park, 2000 Marshall St. NE, at 8:45 am on April 26 to pick up trash and assist with city trucks. Coffee, pastries, bags, gloves and pick-up sticks will be provided.

In this interactive map-making session, learn to read historic property records and transcribe relevant information, helping to build Mapping Prejudice's dataset in active counties across the country.
