Oh Fer Fun Festival
Families with kids of all ages are invited to Salem Covenant Church, 2655 5th St. NW, New Brighton, for an outdoor winter festival on Saturday, Feb. 26, 11 am-1 pm. The Oh Fer Fun Festival will have sledding, games, horse-drawn wagon rides, Chick-fil-A sandwiches, boot hockey, hot chocolate, and s’mores. There is a suggested donation of $5/person, $15/family. NAMI Minnesota (National Alliance on Mental Illness) offers a variety of free online peer support groups for adults and young adults living with a mental illness, their families, friends, spouses/partners, as well as parents of children and teens. Frozen pierogies, to-go bowls of borscht and kolachi will be sold at the NE Farmers Market "Winter Market" as a fundraiser for the Ukrainian Center.
