Halloween party
Bring your little ghosts and goblins to the Van Cleve Halloween party. Age appropriate games, activities and treats in addition to the return of the famous ‘haunted hallway,’ it will be low scare but high fun for all kids and families. Saturday, Oct. 26, 11 am-1 pm. Truck or Treat returns for its seventh year on Saturday, Oct. 26, 1-4 pm, at Huset Park, 3965 Jefferson St. NE. Columbia Heights and its City departments will collaborate with community partners to help make the event possible. Each vehicle station will hand out candy to middle school and younger kids. Attendees are encouraged to come in costume. Pets, too. Magnifi Financial is this year's sponsor.

“Jingle All The Way” at Nicollet Island
Minneapolis Parks and Recreation will present the Arnold Schwarzenegger film "Jingle All The Way" at the Nicollet Island Pavilion, 40 Power St., Sunday, Nov. 17. Doors open at 6:30, film at 7. The movie was filmed in the Twin Cities, with scenes at iconic local landmarks such as the Hennepin Avenue Bridge, the Mall of America and Mickey’s Diner. Bring a blanket. Winter Solstice celebration
Rejoice the coming of longer days with an evening of celestial fun. Take a nature walk along a glowing luminary trail, then make your own luminary to bring home. “Untamed Heart” at Nicollet Island

Logan Park Winter Wellness
