It’s a month early but Minneapolis Parks and Recreation will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with an Irish Dance Party on Sunday, Feb. 15, 3-6 pm at the Nicollet Island Pavilion, 40 Power St.. Wear your favorite green and get ready to step, stomp and shuffle to the lively rhythms of traditional Irish dance. Lessons are welcoming and beginner-friendly, with plenty to enjoy for seasoned dancers too. No fancy shoes needed — tennis shoes or soft-soled shoes work great. Mactír Academy of Irish Dance will guide you through the steps. All ages welcome, no partner or experience needed free admission and free parking.
