Give input on MPRB’s budget
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) will host a community engagement session on its 2027-28 budget on Saturday, Sept. 19, 1–3 pm at the River Hub @ Graco Park, 810 Sibley St. NE. MPRB is requesting a 5.86% tax levy increase to sustain current service levels. Sunday, Sept. 27, 2:30–5:30 pm, River Hub Pavilion, Graco Park, 15 8th Ave. NE. Beaver Day Parade is a community gathering and puppet parade on the banks of the Mississippi River. Learn about beaver research and behavior from scientists and ambassadors, get beavered with face paint or accessories, print beaver bandanas, and meet other beaver-curious people! Halloween Costume Swap
Saturday, Oct. 24, 11 am-3 pm, Graco Park, 15 8th Ave. NE. Browse, swap and find something fun to wear this Halloween. While you're there, jump into a hands-on Halloween-themed art activity and make something of your own.
