OMEGA DEAR (Monthly Children’s Book Reading)

Local author Isaiah Allen will read from his book A Smile, about a young black boy who discovers the transformative power of a smile. The first five families that arrive will receive a free copy of his signed book. The accompanying book read by a fraternity brother is Be the Light by Daria Peoples, a story of civil rights icon Angela Davis and the power of people. Saturday, Sept. 20, 8-9 am.
