The Columbia Heights Lions will host the Annual Jamboree June 25-28. Thursday through Saturday there is a $2 gate fee for anyone 13 and up; 12 and under are free with a paying adult. Hours are: Thursday, June 25, 5-10:30 pm; Friday, June 26, 3 pm-12 am; Saturday, June 27, 1 pm-12 am. The parade starts at 6 pm Friday; music by DNR in the Beer Garden that evening. Lower NE Neighborhoods Association (LNENA) will host its annual NE Park Fest in partnership with Minneapolis Parks and Recreatopm. Community members will have access to entertainment, food, information and resources. It's free, held outside NE Park Recreation Center, 1530 Johnson St. NE, Monday, July 20, 6-8:30 pm. This event will take place during the annual NE/SE soccer celebration; more than 1,000 people are expected in the park that day.
