Egg hunt at Waite Park
Waite Park Church and the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board have teamed up to hide 5,000 Easter eggs in Waite Park, 1810 34th Ave NE, on Saturday, April 8, 9:30 am-12 pm. HeightsNEXT has organized a spring cleanup on Central Ave. Volunteers meet Saturday, April 22, 9 am in the parking lot of the Columbia Heights Public Library, 3939 Central Ave NE. Bags and safety vests provided. Volunteers should bring their gloves and dress appropriately for trash cleanup and the weather. The Great River Coalition will hold its 8th annual Earth Day 5K Bee Run/Walk/River Cleanup at Boom Island Park in Minneapolis on Saturday, April 22, 9 am-12 pm.
