Northeast Library Reopening

The Northeast Library will reopen to the public on Monday, Nov. 17, following a planned renovation project. The work included refreshing the interior with new paint, carpet, and furnishings; adding new play structures in the children’s area and two new study rooms; and completing preservation work while replacing the roof and tuckpointing the exterior brick. The library will reopen with its regular hours: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday: 9 am–5 pm; Wednesday, Thursday: Noon–8 pm; Sunday: closed. A reopening celebration will be held Saturday, Nov. 22, 10 am-noon. The event will feature live artmaking with a Face-O-Mat booth by local artist Andrea From, a story stroll, community art mural, games and refreshments.
