David Goldes will launch his new book, "Unpredictable Drawings," 5 pm Friday, March 3 at Dreamsong, 1237 4th Street NE. The book showcases his work using chemical and electrical transformations of materials such as graphite and silver, using high voltage electricity and sulfur compounds. Great blue herons return to their rookery on the Mississippi River toward the end of March. Join Ranger Will at Marshall Terrace Park, 2740 Marshall St. NE, Saturday, March 18, 11 am-1 pm. The St. Anthony Band Boosters will host a pancake breakfast on Sunday, March 12, 8 am-12 pm at St. Anthony Village High School, 3303 33rd Ave NE (in the commons area).
