Free writing workshops for survivors
Join a free virtual creative writing group for those who have experienced interpersonal violence (intimate partner violence, sexual violence, stalking, trafficking). You don't need to see yourself as a writer - all are welcome. Come together on Zoom to write and read. Holy Cross will hold fish fries on Fridays throughout the Lenten season, with the exception of March 10 and April 7. They run 5-7 pm Feb. 24, March 3, 17, 24 and 31. Adults $12, children under 12 $2. Join Southern Anoka Community Assistance (SACA) at their 11th annual "Hops for Hunger" fundraiser Friday, March 24, 6-9 pm at Quincy Hall, 1325 Quincy St. NE. The Minneapolis Youth Baseball Association (MYAB), also known as the Minneapolis Millers, is a nonprofit organization operated by volunteers passionate about teaching kids to play baseball.
