Open auditions for “Newsies”
Auditions for St. Anthony Community Theater's production of Disney’s “Newsies”, directed by Marci Lucht, will take place Friday, May 19, 6-9 pm, and Saturday, May 20, 2:30-7 pm. Callbacks will be Sunday, May 21, as needed. Walk-ups are also welcome. Seeking actors of all ages (11 years and older), experience levels, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, cultures, races, socioeconomic statuses and abilities. Sisters’ Camelot will distribute free food at Northeast United Methodist Church, 2510 Cleveland St. NE, 2:30-3:30 pm Tuesday, May 30. Established 26 years ago, Sisters’ Camelot is a local nonprofit that distributes prepacked bags of groceries as well as bulk produce twice a week throughout the Twin Cities. By transforming a waste stream into a resource, Sisters’ Camelot offers all people the opportunity to eat healthy, organic, whole foods.
