The second Taste of Fridley Gala is planned for March 8th from 6-9 p.m. at the Banquets of Minnesota to raise funds for 7th and 8th grade Fridley Middle School students who have applied and interviewed to attend a biannual east coast trip to tour Washington DC, Gettysburg, and New York City with their classmates. The City of Minneapolis is seeking applicants for a Community Planning and Engagement Committee to work with the project team on the Upper Harbor Terminal redevelopment project. Applications are due April 14. The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is also establishing a Community Advisory Committee that will work concurrently on park-related components of the redevelopment project.
