Food Shelf at the Y
Thanks to Good in the Hood, the YMCA will host a Food Shelf event the fourth Tuesday every month at their Northeast location at 2304 Jackson Street NE. Everyone is welcome. Registration is easy (how many people are in your family and what food you need). May, 25, 5-7 pm.

Bring your little one outside for an active literary adventure while discovering nature themes during imaginative play. Each week check out a new book alongside nature exploration activities while strolling through the park. For kids up to age 8 with an adult. This is an adult/child interactive experience. Fare for All operate a drive-through food sale at Laborers Union Local 563, 901 14th Ave NE, on Friday, May 28, 11 am-1 pm in the parking lot. Friends of the Mississippi River will meet June 8 to plant additional plugs of prairie grass and pull garlic mustard at their prairie restoration site on Nicollet Island. All are welcome.
