Quam Pulchra Es: Palestrina’s 500th Birthday
Under the direction of Jerry Hui, the Eau Claire Schola Cantorum celebrates the 500th anniversary of the birth of Italian Renaissance composer Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina. In addition to the works of Palestrina, this program also features selections by Lupi, Gjeilo, Billings, Sigurbjörnsson and an African-American spiritual.
