East Bank Mississippi River Care
Join the Marcy-Holmes Neighborhood Association to care for the wild, natural sanctuary on the East Bank of the Mississippi River where bald eagles and great blue herons hunt and the Mississippi once tumbled over massive limestone to create Owamni, later named St. Anthony Falls. The City of Columbia Heights will host its fifth-annual Citywide Garage Sale Friday, June 10-Sunday, June 12. The event has expanded from one to three days. Residents are encouraged to register their address to get on the locator map by June 1. The map will be available online and in print on June 8.
