The Northeast Community Band will present its annual holiday concert Thursday, Dec. 19, 7 pm at Edison High School, 700 22nd Ave. NE. St. Michael’s & St. George’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church invites the public to warm the cold winter nights with made-from-scratch borscht (beet soup) and pyrizhky (home-made bread rolls with a creamy potato filling and lightly fried).
