Off-Leash Area Neighborhood Garage Tour
Off-Leash Area brings bringing original, professional dance and theater to Northeast Friday and Saturday, Sept. 19-20, 7:30 pm. "Stardust Rendezvous" will be hosted by AJ Hokland at 3501 Pierce St. NE. In the play, three wayward space travelers from three remote galaxies simultaneously crash-land on an asteroid at the edge of nowhere. Suggested donation: $5-$30. The Northeast Library will reopen to the public on Monday, Nov. 17, following a planned renovation project. The work included refreshing the interior with new paint, carpet, and furnishings; adding new play structures in the children’s area and two new study rooms; and completing preservation work while replacing the roof and tuckpointing the exterior brick.
