Zen Center open house
Compassionate Ocean Zen Center, located across the street from the Casket Arts building, is having an open house during Open Casket Weekend at the Casket Arts Building. The Center will be open Friday, Nov. 8, 5–8 pm, and Saturday, Nov. 9, 1–3 pm. Tour the Zen Center, learn about their programs, meet guiding teachers, enjoy refreshments. The Columbia Heights Lions will host professional wrestling at Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill St. NE, on Saturday, Nov. 23. Doors open at 6 pm and bell time is 7 pm. Minneapolis Parks and Recreation will host two vendor markets at Nicollet Island, 40 Power St. The Fall Market will take place Sunday, Nov. 17, 10 am-4 pm, and the Winter Market will occur Sunday, Dec. 15, 10 am-4 pm.
