“Sketches into Paintings” will feature a rare look at national award-winning artist Steven Levin’s process, featuring over 50 selections from his personal collection of preparatory pieces, beautiful in their own right, used to create his finished works. Studio Pintura Fine Art Gallery, Northrup King Building, 1500 Jackson St NE, #293-295. Opening reception, Thursday, May 15, 6-8:30 pm. Artist talk: Saturday, May 17, 12:30 -1:30 pm. Art a Whirl Weekend, May 16-18: Friday 5-10 pm, Saturday noon-8 pm, Sunday noon-5 pm.
