MN Pocket Pet Rescue’s 12th Birthday Bash

Sunday, April 26, 11 am–3 pm, North Minneapolis Pet Resource Center, 2825 N. 2nd St. The MN Pocket Pet Rescue turns 12 this year.  This free family-friendly event will include a guinea pig ‘pignic,’ a Pet A Hedgehog animal encounter, animal ambassadors of multiple pocket pet species, face painting, free crafts, games, merch, music and more. From 1-2 pm, they will hold a Garden Party sale: For $20 per kit, you’ll receive everything needed to start your own pet-safe indoor garden, including four mini pots for seeds, two seedlings and one flower. Every plant selected is 100% safe (per species noted on the registration form), making it the perfect gift for your furry friends at home. They will also conduct a Collection for Critters Supply Drive and will provide a list of acceptable supplies.  The food truck on site will be Pretty Great Cake Shakes. Free parking along 2nd St.
