Traditional Scandinavian Lutefisk and Meatball Dinner
First Lutheran Church of Columbia Heights, 1555 40th Ave. NE, will have its annual Scandinavian Lutefisk and Meatball Dinner, Saturday, Jan. 21, 2023, with seatings at 12, 2, 4, and 6 pm. Beds & Bluegrass
My Very Own Bed's ninth annual Beds & Bluegrass fundraiser will be held Saturaday, Dec. 10, 3-7 pm at the Ukrainian Event Center, 301 Main St. NE. Enjoy bluegrass music by The Thirsty River and Minneapolis' "big fun string band" Luke Warm & the Cool Hands, games for the kids, craft beers by Bauhaus Brew Labs and Fair State Brewing, appetizers and a silent auction. The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will roll through Northeast Tuesday, Dec. 13, making a stop at Lions Park on 37th Avenue between 37th Avenue & Stinson Blvd. at 8 pm. Canadian entertainers Kelly Prescott and Alan Doyle will put on a show from 8:15-8:45. Holiday Train shows are free to attend. LUSH Lounge & Theater, 990 Central Ave NE, will host their first annual Queer Holiday Market Dec. 15–16, 5–9 pm. LUSH has partnered with Scout to bring more than a dozen local queer makers and small businesses together this holiday season. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Aliveness Project.
