Introduction to Zen Practice Mini-Course

Compassionate Ocean Zen Center, 652 17th Ave. NE, is offering a free two-part Introduction to Zen Practice mini-course. Held on consecutive Mondays, Sept. 14 & 21, 7-9 pm, these classes will consist of a combination of discussion about Zen and its place in Buddhism, some information about Compassionate Ocean Zen Center, and instruction in sitting meditation. Guiding Teacher Michael Genpo O’Neal will lead this program, which is intended to be a starting point for those curious about or new to Zen.
