Helping Children Become Capable and Confident

Little Hands, Real Work: Helping Children Become Capable and Confident is a free parenting seminar led by Sinead Carolan. It’s a practical conversation about ways to involve young children in the everyday work of home. Topics include age-appropriate tasks for toddlers and preschoolers, as well as simple ways to arrange homes and routines so children can participate more independently. Saturday, Oct. 24, 10-11:30 am, Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church, 1701 St Anthony Parkway. Drop-ins welcome. Child care provided for ages 2 and up, but RSVP to (612) 781-2796 if child care is needed.
