The National Wildlife Federation’s Mayors’ Monarch Pledge encourages communities to create habitats for the monarch butterfly and other pollinators and educate residents about how to make a difference. As part of the Monarch Pledge, the City will hold a Monarch Festival on Thursday, Aug. 14 from 4-7 pm, Huset Park, 3965 Jefferson St. NE, with activities and entertainment celebrating pollinators.
