Give input on MPRB’s budget

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) will host a community engagement session on its 2027-28 budget on Saturday, Sept. 19, 1–3 pm at the River Hub @ Graco Park, 810 Sibley St. NE. MPRB is requesting a 5.86% tax levy increase to sustain current service levels. Among other items they want to continue to protect and grow the city’s tree canopy, support teen jobs and after-school programs, maintain child care and summer camp services and protect natural areas and open Upper Harbor and North Commons in North Minneapolis. Light refreshments will be served.
