Scrolling Through Adolescence: Helping Teens Thrive Online: Wednesday, Sept. 23, 5-6 pm. Is social media helping or hurting today’s teens? Explore the research about how teens use social media and its impact on their development and well-being. Parents and caregivers will learn practical strategies to support healthy digital habits, strengthen communication, and help teens navigate the digital world with confidence. Presenter Jodi Dworkin is a professor and extension specialist at the University of Minnesota in the Department of Family Social Science. She has been studying families and technology use for more than 20 years.
