Attend this class for a general overview of the materials you’ll need to get your garden started this spring. Melissa (CHPS Agriculture Specialist) will share her planning tips and timeline with you. Garden Seed and Information Swap: Thursday, March 19 and Wednesday, April 15, 5-7 pm. Bring your vegetable, herb or flower seeds that you have left over from the last few years and swap or gift it to a community member. Bring your questions about gardening, too.
Free to All: Libraries of Minnesota with Doug Ohman: Saturday, March 14, 10:30-11:30 am. Enjoy a trip back in time when your small-town library opened your eyes to the big wide world. Learn about the role Andrew Carnegie, the Scottish American entrepreneur and businessman had in expanding libraries in Minnesota and across the nation.
