Aging as An Art Form

Aging as An Art Form: Notes From the Far Side of Youth Reading & Reception at Open Book Literary Commons Gallery, 2nd floor, 1011 Washington Ave. S, Thursday, Sept. 3, 6 pm. Art to Change the World presents nine artists who met and wrote from January-June 2026 . The essays are meant to honor and celebrate the comedy of the human condition by drawing on the participants’ experiences with the  elderly – themselves or others. The reception includes a short presentation, book signings, snacks, community and artists discussing their work. Books will be distributed to at least 15  facilities which would benefit from owning this artwork.  Books will also  be available to buy at cost, with no profits sought. The exhibit will be on display Tuesday, Aug. 4-Thursday, Oct. 1.
