Hydro-Illuminata: Playing With Fire

Boatbuilders exhibit at Stormwater Park
This summer, the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization partnered with Urban Boatbuilders and East Side Neighborhood Services on a boat-building project at its Stormwater Park and Learning Center. The public is invited to visit the exhibit through the end of September.

New exhibit and puppet shows: Waterways and Otterways
Local artist Kat Corrigan brings her show Waterways and Otterways, a collection of river otter paintings, to the Mississippi Watershed Management Organization Stormwater Park and Learning Center. The community is invited to a series of free interactive community events for all ages to celebrate the art with a puppet show, make-and-take coloring books, and a community mural project.

“We Are What We Drink”
Explore the origins of our drinking water. The Mississippi Watershed Management Organization Stewardship Fund Community grant supported 10 people selected from the larger MWMO neighborhood population, to meet, collect trash along the Mississippi and participate in an immersive curriculum unit that was collaboratively developed by project manager Barbara Bridges and the participants themselves.
