Lights of Logan
Logan Park residents, get ready to flip the switch on Saturday, Dec. 2, for the annual neighborhood lighting contest. Have your holiday lights on by 5 pm. You could win a $50 prize. Winners will be announced in January. The following Saturday, Dec. 9, gather at the Logan Park Rec. Center, 690 13th Ave. NE, 2-4 pm, for a celebration that includes a cultural performance, refreshments and treats, kids' activities and door prizes.

Friday, Dec. 8, 9 am-5 pm and Saturday, Dec. 9, 9am-4 pm. Most books are $1. Bag Sale on Saturday from 2-4 pm, $5. Literary gift baskets will be available. Proceeds benefit Hennepin County Library, 2200 Central Ave. NE. Book donations are accepted during library open hours.
