Old Timers Hall of Fame induction
The Eastside Old Timers will hold their 71st Annual Hall of Fame induction on Thursday, Sept. 24, at Holy Cross’ Kolbe Hall, 1621 University Ave NE, 6:30 pm. The cost to attend is $10 and tickets can be purchased at the door. Six individuals will be inducted: Dan Roff, Lee Mesna, Kevin “Yogi” Hanzlik, Majalisa Jaede Maley, Tim Johnson and Duane Van Vickle. There will be a special recognition of the 1975-76 Edison Women’s Basketball Team.

Theatre Pro Rata announces its upcoming production of "The Hired Man," by Minneapolis playwright Heather Meyer, directed by Jennie Ward. The play is set on a Wyoming cattle ranch where buried truths emerge and generations of silence give way to revelation. All runners and walkers are invited to sign up for the Historic Riverfront 5K Run/Walk put on by Saint Anthony West and Sheridan Neighborhoods. The Northeast Farmers Market will host a swap event for “Analog and Unbreakable Kitchen Gear + Cookbooks” Saturday, Sept. 26, 9 am-1 pm.
