Deliver Meals on Wheels
The labor crisis has led to a declining volunteer workforce. How much of a decline? One-third of the Area Agencies on Aging lost at least 50% of their volunteers since 2019. Relying on volunteers helps us serve older adults low- to no-cost meals and helps them remain in their own homes longer. Grocery shop for seniors
Grocery shop for seniors through Help At Your Door. Start your day off right and get some exercise while helping older adults meet their grocery needs. The Twin Cities River Rats are back in action, waterskiing on the Mississippi River nearly every Thursday evening through Aug. 31, with some Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays thrown in. Chris Rackley: Life as a Mall Brat
Artist Chris Rackley is a self-proclaimed "mall brat." On days when not in school, Rackley spent his time at the mall sketching, reading, and exploring. In an exhibit at Kohlman & Reeb, Rackley uses drawings, sculptures and an interactive video to explore his memories of a shopping mall in Duluth, Ga. Submit your artwork for Kolman & Reeb Gallery's upcoming juried exhibition, The Big Tiny Show. All subject matter, media and expressions are welcome, as long as they are 12" x 12" x 12" or smaller.
