Scout Troop 132 Pancake Breakfast
26th Annual Pancake* Breakfast Fundraiser for Scout Troop 132 based out of NE Minneapolis. Proceeds go to help the Ttoop with the cost of summer camp fees. Sunday, May 18, 8:30 am-12 pm, Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church, 1701 St. Anthony Parkway. $10 for adults, $7 for youth (6-12), free for under 6. Tickets can be purchased on site. *Foods include regular pancakes, allergen-free pancakes (top 9), scrambled eggs, fruit, sausage, juice, coffee, and milk.

Join Friends of the Mississippi River Sunday, May 18, 9-11 am, as they pull invasive plants such as garlic mustard and dame's rocket from the woodland. As time allows, volunteers may also tend the demonstration planter boxes that provide park users examples of native prairie plantings and give people ideas of what might provide good habitat in their own neighborhoods.
