There will be a world premiere screening of “For Art’s Sake,” the prospective television pilot that was filmed mostly in Northeast Minneapolis. The plot is a one-famous New York art critic, now professor, whose challenge is to keep his volcanic temper in check in order to keep his job and allow his estranged daughter to get her college education. A pancake breakfast will be held at St. Constantine Catholic Church's auditorium, 515 University Ave. NE on Sunday, Oct. 23, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. $7/adults; $4/children 12 and under and includes pancakes, scrambled eggs, ham, syrup, juice and coffee. All proceeds go to the church.
