Twin Cities River Rats Waterskiing Shows
Free shows are held every Thursday, 7-8:30 pm, June-August on the Mississippi River between the Plymouth and Broadway Bridges. Arrive early for parking. Bring lawn chairs or blanket for seating. Columbia Heights Lions will hold a hygiene drive Friday, Aug. 30, 4-7 pm at Murzyn Hall, 530 Mill St. NE. Items needed: feminine products, deodorant, toothbrushes & paste, shampoo, soap. Monetary donations also accepted. All items will be delivered to Columbia Heights High School for distribution within the school district.

Active older adult programs at Northeast Park
Northeast Park, 1509 Johnson St. NE, will be the scene of many programs for 55-plus adults this fall. Weekly ongoing drop-in programs require no registration.
