St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 4101 Washington St. NE, is hosting their twenty-third annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, Nov. 22 following their 10 am service. The free turkey dinner with all the trimmings is served from 11 am-2:30 pm. This dinner is open to any families and individuals in need of a welcome place to spend the holiday. Meals can be delivered to the Columbia Heights area by calling the church at 763-788-9427.
