Hennepin County will hold a hazardous waste collection event at Pillsbury School, 2250 Garfield Street NE, June 21 and 22, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. The county will accept batteries, CFL and fluorescent lamps, drain and oven cleaners, gas cylinders, antifreeze, auto paints, pesticides, vehicle lead-acid batteries and other hazardous materials.
