The Augsburg Centennial Singers, whose members draw from the Northeast area, will hold a concert on Sunday, Oct. 6, 4 pm at Christ the King Lutheran, 1900 7th St NW, New Brighton. Saturday, Oct. 12. The annual fundraiser dashes off at 9 am from Boom Island Park. Last year we welcomed more than 500 runners and walkers to the spectacular neighborhood riverfront route. Registration is $35 through Oct. 8, then $40 through race day. Fall colors will be peaking. Rain or shine.
