Community Adopt-a-Drain Challenge
Andover, Blaine, Columbia Heights, and Fridley are competing to see who can get the most drain adoptions and cleanings from now to Oct 31. Help the City of Columbia Heights win by adopting a drain today at www.adopt-a-drain.org. If you adopt a drain, make sure to give it an awesome name; the best drain name from each city will win the March individual prize!

To celebrate Arbor Day, the City of Columbia Heights will sell trees to residents at discounted rates. Supply is limited -- only 85 trees are available, so it's first-come, first served. Choices range from Blue Beech to Zestar apples. Orders must be pre-paid, checks preferred. The order deadline is April 15. Are you up to date on your breast cancer screening? Presented by Neighborhood HealthSource in partnership with Minnesota Department of Health Sage Screening programs and Park Nicollet, this event offers low-cost or free mammograms to women who need them.
