“Seussical Jr.” at Beltrami Park
Kids 5-12 and their families are encouraged to bring a blanket and enjoy a free performance of "Seussical Jr." Friday, July 29, 10 am at Beltrami Park, 1111 Summer St. NE. Performed by young people for young people, this musical features favorite Dr. Seuss characters including Horton, The Cat in the Hat, and the Whos.

Winter sports signups
Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board invites Northeast kids to sign up for winter sports, including basketball, hockey, gymnastics and wrestling. Bottineau, Northeast and Waite Parks will host basketball. Basketball will run Jan.-March, for ages 5-18. All teams are guaranteed eight regular season games officiated by MPRB referees.
