Volunteers needed for Celebrate Northeast Parade
The Celebrate Northeast Parade relies on the help of more than 80 volunteers every year to make this family-friendly summer event come to life. This is a great opportunity for friends, families and coworkers to get together and support the 94-year-old community tradition. Saturday June 24, 1-3 pm, Logan Park, 690 13th Ave. NE. Hop on your bike and celebrate bike riding. Learn how to ride a bike. St. Anthony Civic Orchestra Summer Pops Concerts
The St. Anthony Civic Orchestra, under the baton of Carol Jensen, will present two pops concerts this summer: Thursday, June 22, 7 pm, Chandler Place, 3700 Chandler Dr. NE (behind Chandler Place - the concert will move inside if there is inclement weather.) Shakespearean Youth Theatre, an arts nonprofit offering professional-level training and performance opportunities to actors ages 12-19, will present two comedies, "Love's Labour's Lost" and "Comedy of Errors," July 21-Aug. 6 at the Crane Theater, 2303 Kennedy St. NE, Unit 120.
